Terms of Service

Version 1.0 · Effective from 1 October 2026

These terms cover the use of Pulse. We have tried to write them so they can actually be read.

1. Who runs the service

Pulse is operated by DxO Systems s.r.o., Gallandova 1232/1, 163 00 Prague 6, Czech Republic, company no. 22438505, VAT no. CZ22438505, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague.

2. What Pulse is

Pulse is an online service for running bands and other musical ensembles: events and member availability, line-ups, songs and setlists, gig logistics, equipment, finances and payouts. It runs in a web browser; there is nothing to install.

3. Account and band

4. Plans and payment

Pulse is charged per band, never per member. Current plans and prices are always shown on the website and in the app.

Free No charge. The whole musical workflow, up to 15 counted members and limited file storage.
Band €6 per month or €60 per year. Adds gig finances, logistics, Bandsintown import, full history and unlimited members.
Pro €14 per month or €140 per year. Adds expense claims with receipts, agreed pay, QR payments and audit export.
Organization For agencies, schools and orchestras – price on request.

5. Changing plan and your data

When a band moves to a lower plan, features that the plan does not include become read-only. Everything already stored in Pulse stays visible and can be exported. Moving to a lower plan never deletes data.

6. Deleting a band, deleting an account, and export

7. Acceptable use

Pulse must not be used for unlawful activity, for sending unsolicited messages, to store content you have no rights to, or in a way that threatens the operation of the service or other people’s privacy.

We may limit or block an account or a band if these rules are broken, if the law requires it, or on reasonable suspicion of abuse. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you reasonable time to put things right.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously, but it is provided as is. Maintenance windows are announced in advance where possible. We give no availability guarantee for the Free plan. For paid plans, if an outage caused by us lasts more than 24 continuous hours, the subscription is extended by the length of the outage.

9. Liability

We are liable for damage caused by breaching our obligations, as provided by law. We are not liable for lost profit, nor for damage arising because you have no copy of data you can export at any time. For business customers, total liability is limited to the amount the band paid in the preceding 12 months. These limits do not apply to consumers to the extent the law does not allow them.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, typically because of a new feature or a change in the law. We will give notice of any material change by e-mail or in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect; until then the previous version applies.

Every version has a version number and an effective date. When you register, we record which version you agreed to.

11. Personal data

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. For the data a band enters about its members, the band is the controller and we are the processor; that relationship is governed by the Data Processing Agreement, which is an annex to these terms and is entered into automatically when a band is created.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and disputes are decided by the Czech courts.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules of the country where you live. Consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (adr.coi.cz).
